A long long time ago there were two great academies, centers of sublime wisdom. They were the academy of Yoha and the academy of Sime. Each had many disciples. Each was known the world through out. (1)
Iza of Zei prized wisdom above all else. He could think and dream of nothing but studying with the great Yoha or the great Sime. One day he left Zei and journeyed long and far to the academy of Yoha. He knocked at its great door. He said I’ve come to study with Yoha. He was told to wait and wait he did for many days. Finally he was ushered in to Yoha and he Iza said “Teach me all I need to know about money while I stand on one foot”. Yoha grabbed a broom and chased him out.
Iza was not deterred. He left and traveled on to the academy of Sime. He knocked at its great door. He said I’ve come to study with Sime. He was told to wait and wait he did for many days. Finally he was ushered in to Sime and he Iza said “Teach me all I need to know about money while I stand on one foot”. Sime told Iza to stand on one foot and said “Live within your means, the rest is commentary. Now go and learn.”
